Worst place we've ever been to. Food was cold and the bread was mouldy!! You should not go there unless you want to get poisoned

Absolutely delicious food BUT the service is not the best. We wanted to pay but we needed to wait at least 10 minutes and it wasn't busy at all. When we finally decided to go and we stood up they just rushed to our table with the receipt. Be careful and check twice what they charge for!

Be prepared to pay a 2€ 'SERVICE CHARGE' just to sit here and eat. You want a glass of water with the lemonade and hot tea you already ordered? Nope, this must be the only restruant without a sink because they 'only had 2€ bottled water'. The food seem microwaved at best. The chips (or fries) were unseasoned and came with zero sauces. The 'mixed vegetables' was iceberg lettuce a small slice of tomato and a few cucumbers, there was no dressing or oil and vinegar. No wonder this place was empty when it's neighboring restruants seemed packed. Avoid at all costs. There are so many phenomenal options elsewhere.

Tourist scam, don't go there. Rather expensive for bad food, diarrhea inclusive.

Very unpolite. We just wanted some snacks to our drinks. When we orderd some fries they told us they are not MCDonalds.

Standard local fare, the pasta had too little sauce and my duck was overcooked. Wifi uber slow also

The food was excellent and the beer was great too. We had to wait a while to get the food but it tasted great. I also ordered soup and never got it. The waiter was very helpful and he recommended the dish I ordered. Overall I would recommend this place. Also, there is outdoor seating.

Foods tasted like nothing...and were served really slowly although there were not so many people. Served one wrong dish but we still took it since we were hungry already. and there was something in one glass of beer. AND it’s pretty expensive as well considering local price. So please go somewhere else...

The carmelised duck was great. So was the salmon, only just a tad bit dry. The staff was very kind and helpful. Just slightly disorganised, serving the meal to one person long after the other has been served. Still, doesnt deserve this low a rating.

Food is horrible, and the staff are more busy with themselves than with their work. Main course came 2 mines after my starter!! Dont go here even 1 star is too much

Worst tourist trap in Bratislava.They served the wrong soup, unexpectedly charged for side dishes and 6€ extra for service. When we asked for an explanation of the additional bill items, the former friendly waiter became really grumpy and pretend to not understand us anymore. The food was mediocre. No need to goo here there are way better restaurants all along the street.

Not worth it... french fries was old and just warmed on...bad taste of food...Don't go there

We were well treated and the food was good.Average price (70 euros for 3 people with wine, pasta for my kid, a delicious tenderloin for my wife and a pork knuckle for me.Not the coziest place on earth but enough for tasting local food.I would recommend despite all the bad reviews.

The food is bad and the waiter ripped us off.We had ordered an alcohol free Radler, then the waiter claimed to have given us the alcoholic one - and claimed, with a smarmy smile, that we should have been able to tell the difference. "Call the police of you want, it's not like they'll do anything," he told us. Clearly not the first experience like this he had had.

This restaurant is AWFUL. DON'T GO THERE. THE PERSONNEL IS AGGRESSIVE AND SUPER IMPOLITE. THE FOOD IS BROUGHT COLD AND THE SERVICE IS SLOW! I GOT ATTACKED BY THEM BECAUSE I REFUSED TO PAY 2.50€ FOR SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A VIOLENT BEHAVIOR FROM ANYONE! THEY SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED! We were in lunchtime, the waiter spoke 5 languages ​​!!! Unfortunately, not in Hungarian. The food was finished in 30 minutes. € 9 was a person with a drink for the total price. And it was very tasty! I recommend to everyone!

You will find a traditional Slovac food selection on the menu with a pub style cooking and prices. It is a cosy place with a typical European style of service - very warm but not offensive and a very chill out, be prepared to be serve for more than a three waiters and sometimes left with no attention... luck of details definitely...You should try a creamy garlic soup - spot on. Unfortunately my chips served with a fried cheese was over cooked and the cheese was dry and chewy - ashamed.If you are a tourist, please try avoid this place from your list of Bratislava attractions.

Worst place to go. Food took 1hr to get. Just convenient food and terrible.

Trap for tourists. Food is average and portions too small. Service was mediocre, they forgot to bring the drinks... Had to ask twice.

Good location, relatively expensive and low effort food. Wouldn't recommend, plenty of better places around.

In principle normal bar in old town. Service was fast. The food was normal, but nothing special. Borovicka was cheap as for old town.

Unfortunately, this place is a completely misunderstanding, I would even call it a disaster... Firstly, when we took our sits, the waiter stood by our side all the time, we did not have time to think what to order, he was in a rush so he didn't give us time to consider if we wanted to order or perhaps leave and change restaurant. What is more, the prices differed from what we were told to what we had to pay - when we wanted to discuss this situation the waiter denied all and changed the prices on a menu board. Well, so 'professional'. In the end, when the dishes were served, my husband noticed a fly in his salad, and again the waiter said that it was not their fault as he assumed that this fly was brought along by us and despite all, all in all, it was just a tiny thing so we shouldnt have bothered. Please guys, don't you dare to visit this restaurant. It is a truly waste of your time, nerves and money cause the prices are really high.

I didn't like it. It was cheap (this is good) but undelicious. The waiter came just 3 times- when we order, to serve the dinner and to get the money. If you want to order something else, he won't come, because he is outside and "whiper" other clients. I don't recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The food was really bad, prosciutto is not the same as ham and the cheese tasted like plastic. Also when ordering white wine they assumed I preferred the most expensive one and gave me twice as much as on the menu, also for double the price.

Basic nice food but some dodgy prices. Charged €5 for a jug of tap water and €2 for dumplings which went with goulash. Avoid.

I ordered a Pork Tenderloin and I got really thin pork chop. It did not taste good and one of them came burnt. The sause was also not good it just tasted very sweet... I can't recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful setting if you want to enjoy lovely food (and a great menu with traditional food) the staff were very helpful and spoke great English..sit outside if you have the weather..and watch the world pass you by !

Absolutely horrible- both food and service. As a Slovak living overseas I was looking forward to good Slovak food. The worst ever! The breaded pork had no taste to it whatsoever. I feel bad for tourists trying to get a real Slovakia experience and come to this place. Please avoid it at all cost- we can do much better than that!

Tasty food, quick service and great atmosphere of Bratislava.

Food was definitely acceptable although not the best but the beer was fairly cheap and tasted great.
